About us

The Pedigree of a National Firm. The Personal Touch of a Boutique Practice.

Golden Grove Law PC combines national law firm training with more than a decade of hands-on estate planning experience. Since opening its doors, the firm has focused entirely on Medi-Cal planning, estate plans, probate, and trust matters for California families—bringing institutional-level discipline to work that's always personal.

Our Values: The Foundation of Our Story

These values aren't abstractions—they're the direct result of where this firm came from. National-firm training, military legal service, and years of hands-on estate planning experience shaped a specific way of practicing law: precise, protective, and genuinely compassionate toward the families we serve. Here's how we got here.

Compassion

We meet families at difficult moments with patience and genuine care—never rushed, never dismissive, always human.

Precision

Every plan is built with the same rigor as courtroom work: no boilerplate, no shortcuts, nothing left to chance.

Advocacy

The instinct to fight for our clients was forged in litigation and military service—and it doesn't switch off for estate planning.

Our story

Where Our Pedigree Comes From

Years of litigation, military service, and client advocacy shaped a precise, protective, and genuinely compassionate approach to practicing law—the same approach we bring to every family we serve today.

Foundations in Law and Advocacy

The firm's founder began his career at a national law firm in Washington, D.C., representing tribal governments in litigation that included a case before the United States Supreme Court, as well as separate advocacy before Congress and federal agencies on federal trust issues and related litigation, among numerous other matters.

Service to Country

Service as a U.S. Navy Judge Advocate meant advising service members and their families on estate planning under real deadlines and real consequences—protecting what people couldn't afford to lose. The role also included reviewing the Navy and Marine Corps' most sensitive cases and advising commanders on matters ranging from military justice to operational law. That service concluded with the rank of Lieutenant Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve.
